In a low-scoring contest between the Houston Aquas and the Cincinnati Twins, 25-year old left-handed pitcher Ron Gelsomino proved to be the difference. The Houston left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Aquas win. Sergio Vega earned the save, his 2nd, for the Aquas. With the win, Houston has a record of 54-66. Cincinnati falls to 42-78.

Marco Feron, who is tied for 4th in the WC in doubles with 38, had a direct impact on the outcome. Feron contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Houston up, 2-1.

"We played hard and won," said Gelsomino. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
