Cyclones Lose Versus Maine, 5-2
The 5-2 Maine win over Miami was due in large part to Roberto Fondin. The Lobster catcher was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Chris Maxwell got the save, his 14th in 14 chances. The Lobster raised their record to 68-52.

William Sanjines had a big 2-run double for the Lobster in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Maine leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a splitter from Ed Rice and swatted a double to left. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lobster ahead, 3-0.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Fondin.
