Montreal got a decent performance from pitcher Les Ralph, but it wasn't enough to beat the Vancouver Wolves. Vancouver won the Fox-Chong Park contest, 7-6. Ralph threw 6.2 innings allowing 6 runs for the losing team. Nick Campbell picked up the save, his 2nd. The Wolves are now 53-66, while the Harfangs fall to 42-77.

Had Keverne Brady not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Brady hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Wolves.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Vancouver skipper Zach Meinen.
