The winner was Markosiants. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Pat Tumlin. The win makes San Francisco 59-61.
DeMario Custodio had a big 2-run double for the Friars in the bottom of the fifth inning. With San Francisco leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Pat Tumlin, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2083 draft, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 34th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Friars ahead, 4-0.
Said losing manager Rick Barnes: "We need to play with more of an edge."
