Rangers Spill Titans, 6-3
|
Buffalo pitcher Bobby Jaramillo did his part in helping his team beat the New York Titans, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Jaramillo picked up the win for Buffalo, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. With the win over New York, the Rangers improved to 64-55.
Bejo Ananas had a big 2-run double for the Rangers in the top of the fourth inning. With Buffalo leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Salvatore Castellon, who is on pace for 249 strikeouts this season, and swatted a double to center. It was his 42nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rangers ahead, 5-0.
Jaramillo called the win "a pick-me-upper."
