The Phoenix Thunderbirds withstood a fine game by Portland shortstop Clive Pritchard at Legednary Park, to upend the Dragons, 8-6. Pritchard went 1-1 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Phoenix reliever Abdi Bitok picked up the win. Omar Mendez took the loss for Portland.
