Yue slugs 2 home runs to Fuel Arrows Offense
|
Joy-shan Yue helped his team muscle past the Montreal Harfangs, 6-1. In the game, the Seattle right fielder belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Su-shun Nie got credit for the win, improving to 13-4. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 6 innings. At 65-52, the Arrows are currently second in the Western Conference Jonas Division.
Jin-soo Shinn, who is tied for 10th in the WC in hits with 123, came through for Seattle with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. The first baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 RBI.
"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," Shinn said in postgame remarks. "Soon enough, the finish line will be in sight."
