The Buffalo Rangers beat the New York Titans, 5-4, at Polo Grounds II. Jose Puga went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 23-year old center fielder was a menace to New York all day. Carlos Palafox was the winner. He's now 7-6. The loser was Lao Lum. Buffalo, at 63-54, sits in second place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.

Puga had a timely hit for Buffalo in the top of the sixth. With Buffalo trailing 4-3, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Buffalo.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Puga.
