Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Aquas
The Houston Aquas overcame a big game from Kansas City shortstop Marcos Sardinas to pick up a win at Tesoro Stadium. The final score was 4-3, Houston, in 12 innings. Sardinas went 4-6 with 4 doubles. Houston reliever Chris Bender picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Bobby Rodriguez took the loss. By defeating Kansas City, the last-place Aquas improved to 40-77.

The Aquas were down to their final out when second baseman Matt Szymanski turned a first pitch fastball from Keishi Okamoto into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Tesoro Stadium crowd go wild.

"The crowd was raucous," said Szymanski.
