The Tucson Toros extended their winning streak.

The Tucson Toros withstood an impressive performance by Denver first baseman Chris Eighmy to defeat the Glaciers, 7-5, at Aetna Stadium. Eighmy was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Kurt Bozek picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 6-3. Shane Shackelford suffered the loss.

In the bottom of the sixth, Jake Doctor delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Tucson shortstop hit a run-scoring single, putting the Toros in front, 7-5.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Rick Barnes.

Tucson is now 63-54.
