In a tight game between the Miami Cyclones and the San Francisco Friars, pitcher Billy Lorsung was terrific on the mound. The Miami left-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. Miami, at 52-64, sits in 4th place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.

Alonzo Armijo, who led the EC in batting average with .338 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Armijo contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Miami up, 1-0.

"Billy was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
