At Minneapolis Grounds, the Minneapolis Vikings edged the Alaska Kodiaks, 7-6, in 10 innings. Minneapolis shortstop Omar Ozoa, who jolted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Minneapolis pitcher Zee-loo Kim got the win, upping his record to 4-2. Phil Payne got the loss. The triumph puts Minneapolis at 67-50 for the season.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Ozoa hit a fastball from Phil Payne for a solo home run. The Vikings, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Ace Cooan, the Minneapolis manager.
