Houston Aquas starter Yadisniel Saez was on his game, helping his team beat the Minneapolis Vikings, 6-1. The first-place Aquas now have a record of 71-45.
Craig Lightsey had a big 2-run triple for the Aquas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Houston leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a splitter from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Hendi Cooper and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 4th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aquas ahead, 5-1.
"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Lightsey.
