Greens Suffer One-Run Loss at Minneapolis
The Vikings grabbed a win, 3-2, at Minneapolis Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Boston pitcher Kevin Adkins. Adkins went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Picking up the save was Zee-loo Kim, his 21st. Minneapolis improves to 69-47 with the win. They lead their division by 8 games.

The Vikings got a big at-bat from right fielder Bobby Aguinaga. For the game, Aguinaga went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-2 lead.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Vikings manager Ace Cooan, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
