Buffalo Hot Streak Continues with 3-2 Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Buffalo Rangers and the Cincinnati Twins, pitcher Keiyo Nagao was the difference between victory and defeat. The Buffalo right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Rangers win. Nagao, now 4-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Buffalo raised its record to 66-48 with the win.
Buffalo won the game in part because of Bobby Rojas. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 3-0. For the game, Rojas had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We have some nice rhythm to our lineup right now," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
