Miami Dealt 6-1 Defeat
|
Omezo Suyama was nothing short of phenomenal for the Las Vegas Aces. The 23-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the Miami Cyclones, 6-1. Las Vegas, at 20-17, occupies second place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.
The Aces got a big at-bat from designated hitter Bobby Brito. For the game, Brito went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 2-1 lead.
Brito attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
