Glaciers Clip Browns, 5-4
|
Denver starter Luis Muratalla pitched well against the Brooklyn Browns at Mountain Dew Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4. Joe Cox got credit for the save for Denver. It was his 2nd of the year. With the win, Denver has a record of 57-59. Brooklyn falls to 60-55.
Bin-ying Shui drove in one run for Denver. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Shui had a clutch at-bat. Facing Brooklyn hurler Chris Jimenez, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Glaciers a 3-2 lead.
"Luis is good at sticking to his strengths," said Denver manager Todd Bleess.
