Lobster Drop Titans, 1-0
The Maine Lobster did just enough to secure a victory over the New York Titans, 1-0, in 10 innings at Polo Grounds II. Nobody did more than pitcher Axel Mendiola. Chris Hoglund got credit for the save for Maine. It was his 3rd of the year. Maine, at 36-78, holds down last place in the Eastern Conference Goff Division.

Mike Bishop had a direct impact on the outcome. Bishop contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Maine up, 1-0.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Matthew McExpos, the Maine skipper. "This one tested us."
