Vikings Get Dramatic 7-6 Win
The Minneapolis Vikings managed to get by the Alaska Kodiaks, 7-6, at Minneapolis Grounds. Minneapolis first baseman Leonilde Tigre set himself apart with his performance. The win went to Angelo Zelada in relief. His record improves to 2-0. J.D. Haynes took the loss. The win for the Vikings raised their record to 66-50.

The decisive blow was delivered by Gentaro Arakawa in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a bases-clearing double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher J.D. Haynes to win the game for Minneapolis. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Arakawa.
