Phoenix Thunderbirds starter Jay Barrientos found his groove in his team's 9-4 win over the Miami Cyclones. The win gives Phoenix a season record of 58-57.

The fans who came to support the Thunderbirds were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Legednary Park.

"Jay -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Thunderbirds manager Joe Busch. "He was the key to us winning."
