Las Vegas 70-45 After 6-2 Victory
|
The Las Vegas Aces stopped the Kansas City Athletics, 6-2, at Western Coliseum. The Aces got a big game from Chris Zamarron, who went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. The Aces, at 70-45, sit in first place in the Western Conference Eastin Division.
The Aces got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tan Tsung. For the game, Tsung was 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 20th double of the season gave Las Vegas a 4-1 lead.
"The more wins we pile up," said Zamarron, "the more I like our chances."
