Daniels on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Portland
Cody Daniels found his groove in today's game versus the Portland Dragons and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Miami Cyclones, as the club lost the game, 11-10.

The 24-year-old left fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."

"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Daniels said.

Cody Daniels hit a two-run home run off Lanzo Huitron in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Lanzo Huitron in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Damian Mares in the 8th.

This year, Daniels has hit at a .292 clip with 83 RBIs, 22 home runs and 63 runs scored.
