Downward Spiral Continues for Seattle
|
Las Vegas designated hitter Tan Tsung had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Seattle Arrows, 7-3. Salomé Sieuve picked up the win, lifting his record to 7-5 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 3 in 6 innings, while yielding 3 runs. The losing streak for Seattle has now reached 8 games.
Las Vegas grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Tsung hit a 2-run home run off Hyun-koo Ka. His 18th home run of the season put the Aces out in front, 5-3.
"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber.
