Buezo Hits Two Homers in 9-1 Win for Chicago
The Chicago Phantoms defeated the Alaska Kodiaks, 9-1. First Baseman Jose Buezo deserved a large share of the credit. Buezo was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Phantoms. Jake Orthman earned the win to go to 10-8. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. Chicago, at 56-57, sits in 4th place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.

In the bottom of the third, Buezo had one of his most important at-bats: a run-scoring single off B.J. Terriquez that staked the Phantoms to a 2-1 lead.
