Greens Earn Late 2-1 Win
The Boston Greens wiggled past the Los Angeles Stars, 2-1, in 11 innings at Arrington Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Javy Alejo. The win was credited to Jorge Zamora in relief. His record improves to 7-0. Cody Goings took the loss. By defeating Los Angeles, the third-place Greens improved to 56-56.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 11th, an error by the Stars allowed the Greens to score the winning run.

"Tough loss," said Los Angeles manager Pat Kaers. "But we'll learn from it."
