Riding the 3-hit performance of the 25-year old left fielder John Woodward, the Vancouver Wolves defeated the Boston Greens, 10-2. Chris Chavarria collected save number 4. The triumph puts Vancouver at 18-18 for the season.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Fox-Chong Park seemed to enjoy watching the Western Conference action.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Boston manager Matt Glazer. "We got flat-out beat."
