Greens Nip Glaciers, 5-4
|
Denver designated hitter Jim Snook was sensational. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Boston beat the Glaciers, 5-4. Miko Hakala earned save number 26 this season. Boston, at 64-47, occupies second place in the Eastern Conference Walker Division.
Rikiya Tsuji, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2079 draft, aided the Boston cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk.
"It feels good to get this one," Tsuji told the Boston Citizen.
