Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Havana Metropolitanos and Baltimore Kings.
The Havana Metropolitanos defeated the Baltimore Kings, 5-3. Doing his part was right fielder Jordan Alvarez, who went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ricardo Alas recorded the save, his 16th.
With Havana leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Alvarez hit a fastball from Kunimatsu Myaji for a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Metropolitanos ahead, 5-0.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Alvarez told the Havana Times.
The Metropolitanos saw their record improve to 55-57.
