St. Louis got a valiant performance from pitcher Carter Commiskey, but it wasn't enough to beat the Toronto Juggernauts. Toronto won the game, 3-2. Commiskey threw 8.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Toronto now sits at 51-60, while St. Louis falls to 45-68.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Toronto right fielder Victor Verdugo, facing Tso-i Mak, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Juggernauts the 3-2 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Verdugo said.
