Aces Rally For Late Win Over Stars
Adir Barrabi had a good game, but he could not keep the Los Angeles Stars from falling, 8-6, to the Las Vegas Aces at Stars Ballpark. The Los Angeles first baseman hit 2 home runs in the loss. Las Vegas reliever Billy Zaffuto picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Jose Bustamante took the loss. Las Vegas is now 69-44, Los Angeles 59-52.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Reinprecht Mann came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Los Angeles pitcher Chase Kessler, he hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Las Vegas on top, 7-6.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Mann told the Las Vegas Daily. "It's as simple as that."
