3-1 Win for Houston Hard-Earned
Starting pitcher Ron Gelsomino gave the Houston Aquas a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Phoenix Thunderbirds, 3-1, at Legednary Park. Houston reliever Hwui-ning Tsou was the winner. His record is now 1-1. John Intriago took the loss. The Aquas now own a record of 37-74.

Houston used the timely hitting of Hector Gallegos to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aquas on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Gallegos.
