Vikings Knock Off Friars, 8-2
The home crowd had a good time watching the San Francisco Friars and Minneapolis Vikings get after it.

The Minneapolis Vikings thumped the San Francisco Friars, 8-2, at Minneapolis Grounds. Omar Ozoa was a big reason his team got the win. Ozoa went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Minneapolis's record now stands at 53-58, placing them 4th in the Western Conference Najera Division.

With Minneapolis leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Ozoa hit a slider from Dave Fife for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Vikings ahead, 4-1.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Ozoa.
