Trevor Short had a good game, but he could not keep the Boston Greens from falling, 6-5, to the Los Angeles Stars at Arrington Park. The Boston designated hitter was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs in the loss. Picking up the save was Chase Kessler, his 6th. Los Angeles, now 60-52, holds down second place in the Western Conference Duviel Zaldivar Division.

Los Angeles second baseman Chris Kouri contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 70th hit of the season and put the Stars ahead, 6-4.
