Browns Get Close Win Over Arrows, 4-3
The Seattle Arrows got a superb performance from pitcher Jimmy Cain, but the Brooklyn Browns still won the game, 4-3. Cain threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. Vince Tozier, who is tied for 4th in the EC in innings pitched with 149.2, was the winner. He's now 11-8. The loser was Garrett Gutierrez. The 4th-place Browns have a record of 59-51.

Jimmy Keener, who finished 4th in the EC in hits with 206 in 2081, helped out the Brooklyn cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a 3-run home run. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Browns manager Jason Cormier.
