New York Bats Quiet in 9-1 Loss
|
Philadelphia Spectres pitcher John Guzik was all business, helping his team muzzle the New York Titans, 9-1. At 58-51, the Spectres claim third place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
Alrigo Dini, who is a three-time All-Star, chipped in a 3-run home run for Philadelphia in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"It's a mindset," said Guzik. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
