Aces Take It on Chin, Lose, 10-0, to Denver

In an excellent mound performance, Kevin Welsch of the Denver Glaciers blanked the Las Vegas Aces, 10-0, on a 9-hitter.
"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game.
In all, the Denver hurler rang up 1 strikeout and 2 walks in the shutout win.
"We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Aces manager Justin Coroian. "Welsch did a good job keeping us guessing."
This season, Welsch has compiled a 5-2 mark with a 2.68 ERA.
