Minneapolis third baseman Javy Trinidad had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Chicago Phantoms, 13-4. Vismay Falcon, the winner, improved to 13-3. He held the Phantoms to 4 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. With the victory, the Vikings record stands at 66-43.

With Minneapolis leading 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth, Trinidad hit a curveball from Jake Orthman for a grand slam home run. It was his 22nd home run of the season and put the Vikings ahead, 10-4.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Trinidad.
