Kelly Lifts Spectres to 9-6 Triumph
|
Philadelphia second baseman Eddie Kelly helped his team beat the New York Titans, 9-6. Kelly, who led the EC in hits with 208 in 2081, went 2 for 3 for the Spectres. The winner was Rafael Salabarria in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Mike Alfonso took the loss. The Spectres, at 19-16, sit in third place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
Kelly had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth, when he hit a grand slam home run. The Spectres went on to win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Kelly.
