Vikings Earn Late Win
The Minneapolis Vikings knocked off the Denver Glaciers, 9-8, at Mountain Dew Park. Sam Cone hit 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. At 61-48, the Vikings claim first place in the Western Conference Duviel Zaldivar Division.

Minneapolis used a timely hit from Gentaro Arakawa to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Vikings ahead, 9-8. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Vikings manager Ace Cooan.
