10-3 Triumph Runs Kings Streak to 8 Games
|
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Baltimore Kings.
Though he had a terrific game, Matt Salmon could not prevent his team, the Toronto Juggernauts, from absorbing a loss. Baltimore won the game, 10-3. Salmon was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Baltimore has now won 8 in a row.
Da-xia Peng, who is on pace to hit 41 home runs this season, came through for Baltimore with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. The right fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Peng.
