Kenison Tags Aces for 5 Hits
|
Dusty Kenison of the Avispas was unstoppable in his team's 13-1 victory over the Las Vegas Aces at Estadio Guillermón Moncada. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Santiago second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Dusty Kenison singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cesar Lobatos in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Thus far this season, Kenison has hit .357 with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 16 times.
