Rangers Take Tight Tangle
Maine catcher Roberto Fondin had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Fondin went 2-5 with a home run and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once, even as Buffalo beat the Lobster, 11-10. Buffalo, with the win, is 3-1.

The Rangers got a clutch hit from third baseman Steve Dunn. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rangers.

"Ugly win or not, we'll take it," said Dunn.
