Destroyers Drop Greens, 10-8
The San Diego Destroyers and Boston Greens lit up the scoreboard.

San Diego center fielder Leon Rose was a significant contributor in his team's 10-8 triumph over the Boston Greens. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Destroyers. After today's action, San Diego sits at 15-21; Boston slips to 18-16.

San Diego used a clutch at-bat from Axel Castiglione to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Destroyers ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said San Diego manager Steve Alstadt. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
