Perez Swings Kodiaks to 6-5 Win
|
Felix Perez knocked in 4 runs to help Alaska beat Los Angeles, 6-5. The Canoa, Panama native tallied 1 single and 2 home runs. Alaska has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.
Had Jose Fierro not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Fierro hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Kodiaks.
"The vibe's good," said Alaska manager Alex King. "We've got to keep it going."
