Santiago Avispas starter Seung Moon kept the Denver Glaciers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Luis Jimenez notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Santiago now has a record of 21-13 with the win.

Mike Santoli went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk for Santiago. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ricky Minjarez. It was his 13th walk of the season.

"I think it just wasn't our night," said Denver skipper Todd Bleess.
