Aquas 9-6 Victors Over Kansas City
The Houston Aquas knocked off the Kansas City Athletics by the score of 9-6. Cesar Najar provided some pop, going 2-for-5 with 1 home run. Russ Gillespie was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Mike Flores. Houston has now won 3 in a row.

Marco Feron came through with a big-time hit for Houston. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Aquas manager Brandon Coroian wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
