Browns Saddle Phantoms with 5-3 Loss
The Brooklyn Browns bested the Chicago Phantoms, 5-3, at Brown Town. Roger Rexwinkel was one of the standouts. He went 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Brooklyn pitcher Alberto Vasquez got the win. He's now 3-3. Jake Orthman was tagged with the loss. Kyle Burch collected save number 3.

There was more than one reason the Browns beat the Phantoms, but Rexwinkel's big at-bat in the bottom of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-2 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"We did enough to win," said Rexwinkel.

The win puts Brooklyn at 18-15 this season.
