The Buffalo Rangers romped over the Cincinnati Twins, 11-2, at Bison Stadium. Rafael Vasco led the way. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 7 for Buffalo. The win gives Buffalo a record of 21-11.

Charlie Cole had a big 2-run double for the Rangers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Buffalo leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Julio Carpinteyro, who is tied for 2nd in the EC in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rangers ahead, 5-2.

"That's what this team is about," said Cole, "picking each other up."
