Riding the 3-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Francisco Mateus, the Baltimore Kings stopped the Buffalo Rangers, 12-1, in 9 innings. The win gives Baltimore a record of 17-14.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Baltimore skipper Brad Carpenter.
