Houston got a valiant performance from pitcher Slider Brooks, but it wasn't enough to beat the Montreal Harfangs. Montreal won the game, 3-2. Brooks threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Houston is now 17-15.

Nick Borcherding was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Harfangs catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Borcherding told the Montreal Today.
