Vikings Bridle Aquas, 3-2
|
In a tight tilt between the Minneapolis Vikings and the Houston Aquas, Vismay Falcon was the deciding factor. The Minneapolis left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The winner was Falcon. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Ron Gelsomino. Earning his 1st save of the year was Kwang-sik Nho.
Gentaro Arakawa hit a solo home run off Ron Gelsomino in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Vikings ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Arakawa had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan.
The victory makes Minneapolis 21-10, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2083.
