11-8 Loss Extends Miami Skid
|
Larry Perfect had a hand in Chicago defeating Miami by the score of 11-8. Perfect went 2 for 3 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 3 runs. Aaron Narduzzi, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. Miami is 14-16 after the defeat.
Luis Valera drew 1 walk for Chicago. The 28-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Vicente Fuentes. It was his 7th RBI of the season.
"We've hit a lull," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
